Cancellation of Orders
This Policy covers the instances where the orders placed earlier, are cancelled. Under this policy:
 
  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 48 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been processed for shipping.
 
Return Policy
The return process of the product can be restricted depending on the nature and category of the product.
 
  • Products once delivered are not returnable unless they are damaged.
  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report the same to our Customer Service team within 48 hours of receipt of order. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end.
  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
  • Products should be unused.
  • Products should be returned in their original packaging along with the original price tags, labels and invoices.
  • It is advised that the return packets should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no further damage of goods in transit.
 
Shipping Policy
We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and always on time.
 
  • Each order will be shipped to a single address, specified at the time of placing the order. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you shall need to place multiple orders.
  • Products are shipped within 2-3 working days of the order placement. However in some cases, we may take longer, to ship the order as we may have to procure / transfer it from other stores or our warehouse. In the unlikely event that we are not able to ship your order completely within 7 working days of the order, we shall cancel the remaining unshipped part of the order, and send you a communication informing you about the same. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded by local INR cheque in favour of the name as in the "billing name" provided at the time of placing the order, within 15 working days.
  • We ship on all working days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • All items (including Gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.
  • The status of orders can be checked on “My Account” page.
 
Shipping Charges
Shipping facility is available for all main domestic and international locations.
 
  • Shipping within the city of Delhi is free. NCR shipments are chargeable.
  • For all other locations shipping rates are calculated based on the product and the shipping location. These rates are made available during checkout once you enter the delivery address.

Refund Policy
Refund will be processed only after receipt of the product by Bahrisons Booksellers or its business partner. Refund will be processed based on the mode of payment of the order
 
  • Orders paid by credit/ debit card will be refunded by local INR cheque in favour of the name as in the "billing name" provided at the time of placing the order, within 15 working days.
  • Orders paid by net banking accounts will refunded by local INR cheque in favour of the name as in the "billing name" provided at the time of placing the order, within 15 working days.
  • For all other modes of payment, local INR cheque will be issued in favour of the name as in the "billing name" provided at the time of placing the order, within 15 working days.
  • Postage charges will not be refunded.
