In memory of Bryan Burns (d. 2000) with whom she co-taught a course called “Representing the Holocaust,” Vice (English literature, U. of Sheffield) collects a dozen studies which first appeared as a special issue on Representing the Holocaust of Immigrants and Minorities, v.21, nos. 1&2, 2002. Two of Burns papers on Shoah cinema and journals are included. The volume begins with studies of Holocaust refugees and commemoration in Britain, and concludes with an analysis of a fictional memoir case of Holocaust envy. Distributed in the US by ISBS.
